The final Conference for Rotary District 9550

Rotarians from around the district came together for the last time as District 9550, before we amalgamate in July 2021. It was a great celebration of the achievements of this extraordinarily diverse district that covers over 1 million square kilometres. Delegates were treated a a Parade of Clubs in our District and a Parade of Flags of the countries that our members have been involved with over the years.               A thought-provoking presentation by Dr Ray Hodgson was one of the many highlights of the conference and his book, Heartbreak in Nepal, was a definite best seller with all proceeds going to build a women's and children's hospital in Nepal. The breakout sessions were enthusiastically embraced by all the delegates, who were pleased to make up various packs for women and children in need.
