Sizzling Masks!
Masks were the order of the day at our monthly Sausage Sizzle on the first Saturday in April. Due to a Covid 19 scare in Brisbane the whole state had to mask up, but it was Easter Saturday and we were expecting a large crowd at the Mossman markets, so our volunteers kept smiling and donned their masks

Rotary Assembly
On the weekend of March 13th and 14th Rotary District 9550 held it's annual Assembly. Members worked in small groups to develop skills and strategies to grow and run our clubs successfully. It was great to share ideas and make new friends from across our District.

Rotarians and their partners enjoyed at delightful meal at Inn Front Mossman for our first Social Night for 2021. The club visits a different venue in Mossman and Port Douglas each month to support our local restaurants and enjoy a night of delicious food and great conversations.

World’s Greatest Meal Afternoon Tea
The Rotary Club of Cairns West hosted a very successful Afternoon Tea at Freshwater Station on Saturday 27th February to support Polio Plus. This WGM event was fully booked and guests were treated to a delicious afternoon tea and an afternoon of Japanese culture to the melodious sound of Japanese flute music. Roby & Greta Kessler and Lee & Jan Stokes represented Mossman Rotary and were very pleased to catch up with Susanne Rae and Nauman Abbasi at this delightful function, that raised almost $1000 for Polio Plus.
