Guest Speaker Julie Williams – Positive Parenting program

Another great guest speaker this week, Julie Williams, who is employed by Cape York Partnerships.

She is involved in delivering positive parenting programs in indigenous communities helping parents make a difference in breaking the cycles that sometimes make it difficult for indigenous families to participate fully in mainstream society.

She also spoke about some of Cape York Partnerships other programs which are being delivered in various communities throughout Cape York and gave us an insight into how they are working.

Mossman Rotary Club is committed to deepening our engagement with our Kuku Yalanji community and will continue to support initiatives which will lead to lasting change and improvement.
