Rotary combats - Poverty, Neglect, Hunger, Water Shortages and Contamination, Poor Housing, Inadequate Medical Attention and Supplies, Disease, Discrimination, Ignorance and Poor Reading and Comprehension Skills.

Australia Day Aussie Family Pool Party

  The Rotary Club of Mossman is hosting an Aussie Family Pool Party at the Mossman Pool to celebrate Australia Day. Join us at the Mossman Pool on Tuesday 26th January at 11am for a fun, family day in the sun. A Sausage Sizzle and lamingtons will be provided with entertainment by the Walker Brothers. This is a free event. Due to Pool restrictions numbers are limited to 200 people. Access is on a first come, first served basis. Mossman Pool is an alcohol free venue. Congratulations Rotary Cairns Northern Beaches

The Rotary Club of Cairns Northern Beaches celebrated the induction of their new members by DG Merewyn Wright, at the Palm Cove Surf Club on Saturday 10th October. Roby & Greta Kessler and Lee & Jan Stokes represented the Rotary Club of Mossman at the event and were pleased to meet so many enthusiastic new Rotarians with a passion to assist disadvantaged youth.

District Governor visits Mossman

The Rotary Club of Mossman was pleased to welcome District Governor Merewyn Wright, her husband Stan and Assistant Governor David Kirchner to Mossman for the annual DG visit. Members and guests enjoyed engaging and informative presentations from both Merewyn and Stan, followed by a virtual tour of the new and long awaited Kubirri Aged Care Centre with Centre Manager Christine Noble. Our thanks to Mossman Bowls Club for a great set up and lovely meal

Rotary Sausage Sizzles are back!

Our first sausage sizzle for 2020 was held at the Mossman Markets on Saturday 5th September. Proceeds from this fundraiser were used to provide a bus to take students from Mossman High School to the Careers Expo in Cairns.

More than great sausages!

It was great to catch up with our many supporters and friends, with social distancing of course! Join us in Port Douglas on Sunday 18th October for our Sausage Sizzle to support Lift the Lid for Mental Health!
